Anne Dayment

Anne hails from Scarborough and music has always been an integral part of her life. She started learning the piano when she was 7 and by 13 was accompanying the school orchestra. Anne gained a piano diploma whilst training in Nottingham and sang in HMS Pinafore, The Mikado and The Pirates of Penzance. Anne teaches locally and has accompanied many of the local singers and societies in the Bay. Happily for us, Anne’s true loyalties lie with the G&S Society of which she has been a member for 24 years, joining initially as a singer for the production of The Mikado in 1981.

Anne is the Torbay Branch of the Gilbert and Sullivan Society's rehearsal pianist and plays a vital role in the success the Society continues to enjoy.
